When Janet told me that she and Karl wanted to do their engagement photos at Matthiessen State Park I was thrilled. I’ve been many times and love every chance I get to visit but surprisingly I have never taken pictures here. These two were such troopers hiking mile in their dress clothes, changing behind rocks, and braving the unbelievable September heat. But if you ask me, it was well worth it! I’m in love with these images and this couple. Their love for each other is undeniable. A simple whisper from Karl would have Janet in fits of giggles. It was so much fun spending the evening capturing their love.
