One of the absolute best parts of my job is the chance I get to uniquely share in the joy of a couples engagement. It is such a pleasure to get to peek into a couples relationship and it is an honor to capture the love they share. I can’t even count the number of times couples have comes to me and said “we just aren’t photogenic” or “we just aren’t good in front of the camera.” And with a smile on my face my response is always the same “no worries, it’s my job to make you look good.” Andrew and Elizabeth were no exception to this mindset. But I mean come on!! How adorable are they?!? These two made my job is easy. The shoot was all about directing snuggles, and kisses, and a perfectly timed prompt to whisper in her ear. The rest just comes natural. You can’t pose the way Elizabeth smiled when Andrew wrapped her in a bear hug or giggles that come from dancing together in a grassy field. That was all them!!
Honestly couples that worry about being “un-photogenic” are the most fun to deliver galleries too. I always pray that they are able to see their love in their images the way that I see it. Full of giggles, and snuggles, and sweet little moments that will be treasured for a lifetime.
