It’s official, my little brother is married and I have gained another sister. I seriously could not think of a more perfect person than Kaitlyn to be welcoming into our family. As one of Andrew’s older sisters, (there are 4 of us) we have spent years praying for the special woman that would someday capture his heart and this girl is exactly the answer to all those prayers. It has been such an honor to have a front row seat to watching their love grow. It is obvious that these two love each other and the Lord in a way that shows wisdom well beyond their years. The weekend was filled with story after story of how these two have touched lives and showed the people around them what it means to love Jesus. I couldn’t be more proud of them and the testimony that they share as a couple. Watching them stand in front of their family and friends and confess their love to each other was truly amazing.
For me, the day is a big blur of laughter, excitement, and happy tears. It was so fun to have the opportunity to capture it all. Being a wedding photographer, I get to intimately share in the biggest day of a couple’s life. I am there to capture every embrace, every tear, the silent moments before a dad gives his daughter away; all of it. These photos mean so much to me. I hope you enjoy an up close look into Andrew and Kaitlyn’s big day.
