Hello Everyone…
I know it has been awhile! I am just trying to regroup after an amazing week away in the Dominican Republic serving the Lord. I’m struggling to find the words to share with you all how amazing the week was and much I learned about the AWESOME God we serve! So what I can not really explain with words I tried to capture in pictures, about the relationships that were made and the beauty I saw in both the people and the landscape down there. This was my second time visiting and every time I feel like I leave a little bit more of my heart there! I fall a little more in love with all the people, the culture, the beautiful landscape, and the climate. And most of all, the little giggles and big brown eyes. It was harder than ever to leave this time, but I couldn’t wait to get back and share about my experience (and of course all the pictures) with all of you! I hope you all get an idea of the amazing week I was so blessed to be able to spend in in this foreign country visiting and serving my brothers and sisters in Christ! Coming away from this week I feel that the idea most prevalent in my mind is that “Our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:29 and that he wants all of us. All our actions, our thoughts, our love, our devotion, and most of all our heart. I am praying for more opportunities to show that the God I serve is a consuming fire and to share his love with a world that does not know him!

Elise! You did a great job capturing your trip. I felt like I could hear the laughter that I saw in the kids’ eyes! I think I may join you next time!
